Wrestling Elite Forum - Where Big Cal Is On The Jazz

Everyone here seems to have matches that they want someone on here to watch. How about every month we suggest a match to each individual active person on the board and then they write what they thought about said match? January is still pretty young so it could technically start this month. Literally just thought this up so I haven't worked out how someone like CF will be able to D/L the matches when he's limited in that regard, but I'm sure there are ways to work around that. Also have to work out a way to get the suggestor to explain certain backstories of the match to the suggestee. I think with Cal, Andy, CF, Craig, Clique, Rude Awakening and me (maybe Benjo is he'd be up for it too. This would be an awesome idea if Buzz still posted regularly ), this could be halfway fun and a new way to get people into genres they wouldn't typically go into or to rewatch matches they haven't seen in years.

This is the part that I don't quite understand. So each month everyone would get together and suggest one match for each person to watch, meaning that everyone who wants to do it suggests a match for everyone else who wants to do it (so if me, you, Andy and Craig were in it, I would suggest a match for you, Andy and Craig, then Craig would suggest a match for me, you and Andy etc, meaning we would all have 3 matches to watch)?

Or perhaps some sort of match involving a wrestler who recently passed away (WWE mentioned him on Raw, despite the fact he was only with the company for what, a few months at best, and completely ignore Umaga?) against some guy from Japan?

Anyways, guess we will have to wait for viva to return and make things clearer .

You hit it on the head, Cal. In the scenario of you, Andy, Craig and me, I'd pick out a match for all three of you and you three would do the same for the rest of the group. We'd each have 3 matches to watch for the month. You can pick any match you want, say Craig to watch and he can pick any match he wants for you to watch (Kobashi vs. Williams for instance), and it goes the same for everyone.

Good idea Mike. I'm constantly pimping the fuck out of matches that never get talked about and none of you pricks ever look them up! Seriously though, it's the same for everybody so I think it's a win win idea for all involved. That is, if people actually follow the rules and don't just decide not to watch the said match. During Uni, specifically next year, yes it will be tough for my internet capabilities. Restrictions could mean my contributions to the site at all could be really minimal, so I'll just play it by ear and see what I can do. Who knows, I may get a wicked scholarship and be able to pay for my own internet. I'm not sure.
